Oh no...why wasn't there any dubbing in the olden days?
I wonder why there wasn't any dubbing in old MGR or Shivaji movies especially the ones featuring Saroja Devi...Had it been there, it would have saved our ear buds...Yep, I am talking about the way she talks...Oh my god! Hearing her speak tamil or any language is as well equivalent to attempting to commit suicide...I really wonder how they gave her the title "Kannada thu Payinkilee"! Guess the ones who gave her the title were deaf! Thank goodness they did not call her a "kuzhil" or something...

she was only called "Kannadathu paing kili" right? not some "tamil kuyil" or something...
I did not know she was kannada! I thought there were other kannada people who were better like Kanjana. She was really good lookin for her time!

yeah she was called that since she hailed from kannada nadu...
I am not too sure abt kanchana...all I know is she was an air hostess prior to joining movies. Unfortunately she did not save enuf for the rainy day and spent few years in her late 40's or early 50's working as a housemaid until JJ gave her money and revived her from economic disaster...
really... I thought I heard that she was a beggar... too bad!
regarding sarja devi... people might have felt she was far better compared to MGR! ha ha !
