Hi, I came across your blog when I was reading about Sowmya. She was my classmate in VM. I have to agree with you when it comes to Malar hospital. We had such a terrible time there. My father was in coma for a month. We found some of the doctors attitudes disgusting!One of the doctors there is supposed to be one of those "super special good" ones. The way he spoke to us at times was shocking. Picture this- My dad's lying there and this doctor picks up his glasses and tells a junior doctor- "dei kick vennum na, indha soda budiya pottuko, beer vendaam". Another sample (this time directed towards me)- "Vonakkum inda maadiri high powera? Laser treatment panniko, kalyanam easya aagum"
The worst was that 2 sets of specialists had 2 different views on my father's prognosis. One said "prepare for the funeral" and the other "he's recovering". We went through hell for a month. On the day of my father's funeral, 2 guys turn up at our doorstep- "We are from malar hospital. The accounts section just found out that they hadn't billed correctly,please give us the balance right away". If this isn't inhuman then what is???? My stomach burns whenever I go past the hospital.
I have renamed one of the docs there- Marnadas, I guess you can figue out what his real name is.
